Punjab CIC and SICs extend greetings to newly appointed Haryana CIC TVSN Prasad

Chandigarh : Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of Punjab, Inder Pal Singh Dhanna, along with Punjab State Information Commissioners Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal, Virinderjit Singh Billing,

Harpreet Singh Sandhu, Dr. Bhupinder Singh Batth, and Pooja Gupta, today visited and congratulated the newly appointed Chief Information Commissioner of Haryana, TVSN Prasad, IAS (Retd.), at his residence in Chandigarh.

The Punjab CIC delegation presented a pictorial artwork of the National Bird of India—crafted by SIC Harpreet Singh Sandhu—as a gesture of goodwill and symbolic welcome.

The meeting underscored the spirit of cooperative federalism and emphasized a shared commitment between Punjab and Haryana towards promoting transparency, accountability, and the effective implementation of the Right to Information (RTI) Act.

During the interaction, CICs Inder Pal Singh Dhanna and TVSN Prasad discussed opportunities for mutual learning, inter-state collaboration, and adopting best practices to improve service delivery and reduce pendency in RTI cases.
