MLA Bhullar Launches Yatra to Mobilize Villagers Against Drug Menace

Ferozepur : In line with this mission, Ferozepur City MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar has been spearheading continuous “Drug-Free Punjab” yatras in villages within his constituency, conducting awareness events to inspire villagers to stand against drugs. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government’s campaign against drugs is gaining momentum across the state.
As part of these efforts, MLA Bhullar addressed large gatherings in villages Bhaddru, Rajji Wala, and Hasti Wala. Bhullar noted the overwhelming praise from the public for the government’s decisive actions against drug traffickers, including demolishing illegally constructed properties linked to drug peddling.
MLA Bhullar assured that the Mann government’s dedicated efforts will soon yield results, bringing relief to residents and fulfilling the state’s anti-drug mission.
Meanwhile, in villages Chandi Wala, Jhugge Cheena Singh, and Jhugge Kesar Singh Wala, District Planning Committee Chairman Chand Singh Gill and Dr. Amandeep Kaur Gosal (Coordinator, Nasha Mukti Morcha Ferozepur City) also urged villagers to unite against drugs. They highlighted the strong public participation in the “Drug-Free Punjab” Yatra, reflecting the determination of the people to join forces with the government in this battle.
At these events, villagers collectively pledged to fight against drugs and work towards a drug-free society.
Prominent attendees included Raj Bahadur Singh, Himanshu Thakkar, Amarinder Singh, Salwinder Singh, MC, Mandeep Singh, Gurbhej Singh, Gulshan Gakhar, Manjit Singh Nikku, Surjit Singh (Block President), Manpreet Singh, Bittu, and a large number of villagers.
