Egypt proposes a two-day Gaza ceasefire

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi announced that Egypt has proposed a two-day ceasefire in Gaza aimed at facilitating the exchange of four Israeli hostages for some Palestinian prisoners, the news agency reported. Which includes 10 days of additional talks after the release of the hostages, was presented to Israel's National Security Cabinet last week by Ronen Barr, head of Israel's security agency Shin Bet.
