No Extension for Delhi Police Commissioner Arora, Retirement Confirmed

New Delhi : Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora will not receive an extension of service and is scheduled to retire on July 31, 2025.A 1988-batch IPS officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre, Arora was appointed as the Delhi Police Commissioner on August 1, 2022.

The official confirmation of his retirement came through a directive issued by Sanjeev Kundu, Deputy Home Secretary of the Delhi Government, nearly 50 days before Arora’s scheduled retirement date.
