Punjab Congress leader and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu has divided his property between his son and daughter, according to a social media post shared by him. Sidhu stated that he has transferred his Amritsar residence to his daughter Rabia, while his ancestral house in Patiala has been given to his son Karan. He also shared photographs from a housewarming ceremony held at his Amritsar home. In his post, Sidhu emphasized that the house was built through his own efforts without taking any money from politics. He credited his achievements to the blessings of Goddess Parvati. Sharing further details, Sidhu wrote that he had built the Amritsar house to fulfill a promise made to the people of the city. He mentioned that there were claims he would leave after elections, but he had assured that he would continue to stay connected with Amritsar. Despite completing two terms as a Member of Parliament, he noted that the promise remained incomplete for some time. He added that after Navratri, he found renewed motivation and continued his professional journey through various platforms, including television appearances and commentary work, eventually completing this phase between 2022 and 2024. He reiterated that all his earnings were the result of his personal efforts. Sidhu also clarified that his ancestral house, originally built by his father, would now belong to his son Karan, while the Amritsar property has been assigned to his daughter Rabia. The Amritsar residence spans over 49,500 square feet (approximately 1.1 acres) and was completed around 2014–15 at an estimated cost of ₹25 crore. Located in a prime area of the city, the property features amenities such as a swimming pool, gym, spa, and a temple. The premises also include trees aged between 100 and 600 years, brought from Chennai, Goa, and Bengaluru.
