Fire Breaks Out at Pilgrims' Tent City in Anandpur Sahib, No Casualties Reported

A fire broke out at the government-developed Tent City set up for pilgrims at Agampur in Sri Anandpur Sahib on Monday, triggering a swift emergency response. According to preliminary information, no casualties have been reported in the incident. As soon as the fire erupted, all pilgrims staying at the Tent City were safely evacuated, preventing any loss of life. Fire brigade teams rushed to the spot soon after receiving information about the incident and successfully brought the blaze under control. Their timely response prevented the fire from spreading further. The Tent City had been established by the government to accommodate devotees visiting Sri Anandpur Sahib under the Chief Minister Teerth Yatra Scheme. The cause of the fire has not been officially disclosed.
