Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Approves Proposal to Name Noida International Airport After PM Modi

The Noida International Airport at Jewar in Uttar Pradesh will be named after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced on Friday.
The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the proposal to name the international airport after the Prime Minister. The decision was taken at an important Cabinet meeting chaired by the state government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Announcing the decision, Adityanath confirmed that the state Cabinet had given its approval to the proposal.
The airport’s inauguration ceremony was held on March 28, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the facility. Subsequently, the first IndiGo flight landed at the airport on June 15.
The proposed naming marks a significant development for the Noida International Airport project in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.
