One Policeman Dead, Three Injured in Bathinda Road Accident

Bathinda : Tragedy struck the Punjab Police late Monday night as Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Jalandhar Singh, posted with the CIA staff at Sri Muktsar Sahib, lost his life in a terrible road accident near Rampura Mandi in Bathinda district.

The incident also left three other police personnel injured, including Inspector Rajveer Singh, who remains in critical condition.

According to reports, the police team was returning from a raid conducted in the Patiala district when their vehicle collided with the rear end of a trailer on the highway near Rampura. The impact of the crash was devastating, blowing out the tires of the police vehicle and causing severe damage.

ASI Jalandhar Singh died on the spot due to the force of the collision. Inspector Rajveer Singh sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Bathinda, where he is currently undergoing treatment.Three other personnel in the vehicle were also injured and are receiving medical care.

The Sri Muktsar Sahib District Police has confirmed the death of ASI Jalandhar Singh, mourning the loss of a dedicated officer. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
