Prime Minister Honors Revolutionary Heroes on Shaheedi Diwas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid tributes to revolutionary freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Thapar on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day. In a post, the Prime Minister said that the nation remembers and pays homage to the brave sons of Mother India—Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. He stated that their sacrifice for the nation remains deeply etched in the collective memory of the country. Highlighting their courage, Modi noted that at a young age, the three revolutionaries displayed exceptional bravery and unwavering commitment to India’s freedom. Despite the might of colonial rule, they chose the path of sacrifice with determination, placing the nation above their own lives. He further said that their ideals of justice, patriotism and fearless resistance continue to inspire countless Indians across generations.
