Young Nihang Singh Found Dead During Rakhar Punnya Fair in Baba Bakala

A young Nihang Singh was found dead with gunshot injuries in Baba Bakala during the night of the Rakhar Punnya fair. Police have taken the body into custody and initiated further investigation into the incident. According to the information available, the body of the young Nihang Singh was found behind the Civil Hospital in Baba Bakala late Friday night. Bullet injury marks were visible on his chest and hand. After receiving information about the incident, police took the body into custody at around 9:30 pm and shifted it to the Civil Hospital, Baba Bakala, where it was kept for post-mortem examination. The deceased has been identified as Raja Singh, son of Sarabjit Singh, a resident of Maglani. Byas police station in-charge Gurwinder Singh said police had received information that the body of a young man dressed in Nihang attire was lying behind the Civil Hospital in Baba Bakala. He said the victim had gunshot injury marks on his chest and hand. Police have taken the body into custody and started further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.
