PM Modi Releases Video Message for Students on Paper Leak Cases, Announces Tougher Measures

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has issued a video message addressing students on the issue of paper leaks in the NEET examination and other competitive exams. Reaffirming the government's strict stance, the Prime Minister said that additional and stronger measures against paper leak cases would be taken during the Cabinet meeting scheduled for today. In a video shared on Facebook, the Prime Minister said the government is preparing to intensify its action against the paper leak mafia. He emphasized a zero-tolerance policy against those responsible for jeopardizing the future of students. PM Modi stated that several effective measures have been implemented over the past two and a half months following the paper leak incident. He said that those accused in the case have been arrested and are currently in jail. The Prime Minister added that the government's foremost responsibility is to ensure that students do not lose an academic year. He said every effort was made to enable 2.2 million students to appear for their examinations in the shortest possible time, and the examination results were declared on July 19. He further announced that he has directed the concerned departments to establish fast-track courts for the speedy disposal of cases related to the paper leak matter.
