PM Modi to Visit Gujarat and Daman Today, Launch Major Infrastructure Projects
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Gujarat and Daman today, where he will inaugurate several major infrastructure projects and address public gatherings. In Surat, the Prime Minister will inaugurate National Highway projects worth ₹12,421 crore. These projects include two packages of the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway along with four other highway developments. After arriving in Surat, Prime Minister Modi will address a public meeting at the Indoor Stadium at 3:30 pm. As June 5 is being observed as World Environment Day, no banners have been installed across the city for the Prime Minister’s programme. Employees participating in the event have been encouraged to travel by bicycles and electric vehicles. The municipal corporation will also operate more than 450 electric buses for the convenience of the public. Later in the evening, at 5:30 pm, Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Daman. During his visit, he will inaugurate road and tourism projects worth ₹2,970 crore, along with the newly developed airport. Following the inauguration ceremonies, he will address a public gathering at Swami Vivekananda Ground. The visit is expected to highlight key infrastructure and connectivity initiatives in Gujarat and Daman, with a focus on transportation and regional development.
