Ratia City Inspection: SDM Directs Officials to Improve Cleanliness and Public Services
: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Surinder Singh visited different parts of Ratia city to review sanitation arrangements, road conditions and public facilities being provided to residents.
During the inspection, the SDM directed officials of the concerned departments to further improve cleanliness arrangements across the city and pay special attention to facilities and services available to the general public.
Surinder Singh said maintaining cleanliness, taking care of public places and ensuring basic facilities for residents are important responsibilities of the administration.
During the visit, the SDM obtained information from officials about sanitation arrangements at key locations in the city. He emphasised that regular cleaning should be carried out to prevent residents from facing problems caused by garbage and unhygienic conditions.
He also instructed officials to ensure that waste does not accumulate at public places and that sanitation activities are monitored regularly.
The SDM also visited the Ratia bus stand and reviewed the facilities being provided to passengers. He directed officials to ensure that commuters receive a clean environment and basic facilities at the bus stand without interruption.
The inspection was aimed at assessing civic arrangements in the city and ensuring that public services and basic amenities are properly maintained.
