Fire Damages Machinery and Materials at Textile Factory, No Casualties Reported
A major fire broke out at a textile unit located in Dadola village on Bapoli Road in Panipat early Thursday, resulting in significant material losses. The incident occurred at the Gupta International factory, where flames rapidly spread across the premises. According to initial information, the fire reportedly started late Wednesday night in an open area used for storing waste material. The blaze intensified quickly, causing extensive damage before emergency services could fully contain it. Fire brigade teams rushed to the spot soon after receiving information about the incident. Due to the intensity of the fire, it took considerable effort and time to bring the situation under control. Officials confirmed that as many as nine fire tenders were deployed at the site to douse the flames. Despite the scale of the fire, no casualties have been reported so far. However, large quantities of waste material, parts of the building structure, machinery, and other equipment were completely destroyed in the incident. Authorities stated that the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the reason behind the incident.
