PM Modi to Address Party Workers After BJP’s Landmark Victory in West Bengal

Following the Bharatiya Janata Party’s record-breaking victory in West Bengal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to the people of the state and termed the result a triumph of public trust and good governance. In a post shared on X, the Prime Minister said that the “lotus has bloomed in West Bengal” and described the 2026 Assembly elections as historic. He stated that the outcome reflects the strength of democracy and the people’s faith in governance focused on development and transparency. He also extended his respects to every citizen of the state for their support. The Prime Minister further noted that the electorate had given the BJP a decisive mandate. He assured that the party would make every effort to fulfil the aspirations and expectations of the people of West Bengal. He emphasized that the government would work to ensure opportunities and dignity for every section of society. Highlighting the role of party workers, the Prime Minister said that the historic victory would not have been possible without their years of dedication and struggle. He acknowledged their efforts at the grassroots level, stating that they worked tirelessly despite challenges and consistently promoted the party’s development agenda. Meanwhile, Narendra Modi is expected to visit the BJP headquarters in New Delhi later in the day, where he will address party workers following the significant electoral victory.
