Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla has emerged as the winner of the second season of the reality show ‘Rise and Fall’. He lifted the winner’s trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 35 lakh following an exciting grand finale.
 

Actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary finished as the first runner-up, while ‘Bigg Boss 8’ winner Gautam Gulati secured the second runner-up position. The season was hosted by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, and the final episode witnessed a closely contested battle among the leading contestants.
 

Sharing his experience after the victory, Poonawalla said the show had tested his ability to adapt to challenging situations and remain determined throughout the competition. Reflecting on the contrasting environments of the show's Tower and Basement, he said the journey had been far from easy.
 

He explained that moving between the privileges of the Tower and the uncertainty of the Basement required him to adjust continuously, particularly when circumstances were not in his favour. Despite moments of doubt, he said he remained confident in himself and described the victory as the result of hard work and determination.
 

The grand finale began with entertaining performances by the top six finalists, followed by a reunion of former contestants. The competition then moved into the 'Fortune Floor Pyramid' challenge, after which Niharika Tiwari was eliminated, reducing the contest to the top five participants.
 

In the subsequent rounds, Karan Patel and Swara Bhaskar were eliminated from the Tower. This left Shehzad Poonawalla, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Gautam Gulati as the final three contenders for the title.
 

The final decision was made through a voting process. However, the voting among the three finalists resulted in a tie, creating a tense situation. The contestants who had already been eliminated were then asked to cast their votes to break the deadlock.
 

Following the final voting round, Shehzad Poonawalla was declared the winner of ‘Rise and Fall’ Season 2, taking home the prestigious trophy and Rs 35 lakh in prize money.
 

Poonawalla also said that the relationships, memories and competitive moments he experienced during the show would always remain close to his heart.
