Immigration, Public Safety in Focus as Pauline Hanson Raises Concerns Over Australia’s Future

19 Oct, 2026 01:08 PM

Pauline Hanson, leader of Australia’s One Nation Party and a member of Parliament, has warned that Australia could face unrest similar to the violence reported in parts of Europe, including France and Italy.

Referring to the violent protests in the two European countries, Hanson expressed concerns about Australia’s future, particularly regarding social cohesion, law and order, and national security.

She said the Australian government should learn from developments in Europe and take appropriate measures in time to prevent similar situations from emerging in the country.

However, the events in Europe do not necessarily mean that violence will occur in Australia. Hanson’s warning comes amid ongoing political debate in the country over immigration policy, social cohesion, unemployment, inflation and public safety.

Her remarks have brought renewed attention to questions about how Australia should address these issues and safeguard social stability.
