Mad Sandhu Murder Case: Punjabi Influencer Was Set to Enter ‘Bigg Boss’ on October 29

Social media influencer Madhusudan, popularly known as Mad Sandhu, 29, was shot dead on Loharka Road in Amritsar. He was reportedly hit by three bullets in the incident.
Shortly before his death, Mad Sandhu had shared what was his final Instagram reel, using Punjabi singer G Khan’s song ‘Ve Mainu Mahi Mila De...’.
A new detail has now emerged following his murder. His friend Kunwar Singh has claimed that Mad Sandhu was scheduled to enter the reality television show Bigg Boss.
According to Kunwar Singh, Mad Sandhu was supposed to enter the Bigg Boss house on October 29. He claimed that the formalities related to the entry had been completed and the necessary documents had also been signed. However, Mad Sandhu had not publicly disclosed this information.
Friend Says Mad Sandhu Was Involved in Social Service
Kunwar Singh said Mad Sandhu was not a bad person and claimed that he had been portrayed negatively. According to him, Mad Sandhu was also involved in social-service activities.
He said Mad Sandhu used to organise chhabeels and participate in langar service. During the floods, he was also actively involved in helping people in need.
Gangsters Claim Responsibility for Murder
The responsibility for Mad Sandhu’s murder has been claimed by several gangsters, including Goldy Dhillon and Lucky Johal, who is based in Spain.
The gangsters have claimed that the murder was not carried out for money or personal gain. They alleged that the action was taken to prevent the situation in Punjab from deteriorating.
Mad Sandhu was known on Punjabi social media as an influencer and makeup artist. His Instagram account is @its_madsandhuofficial. On his profile, he described himself as a makeup artist, entrepreneur, artist and influencer.
He had more than 2.2 lakh Instagram followers, while social media analytics sources indicated that some of his reels had received millions of views. He had also appeared on podcasts. His participation in a podcast was recorded in 2024, while another podcast episode featuring him was released in 2026.
In July 2026, an audio-video controversy related to his social media activities had also attracted attention. Some of his older videos were reshared, leading to a controversy around his online presence.
The investigation into Mad Sandhu’s murder remains a significant development in the case, while details surrounding the circumstances of the killing continue to emerge.
