Amritsar–Katra Vande Bharat Express Resumes Today; Check the Revised Schedule

The Amritsar–Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express (Train Nos. 26405/26406) resumes operations from today with a revised route. According to the updated schedule, the train will now travel via Gurdaspur and Batala instead of Pathankot Cantt. Earlier, the train's route included Amritsar, Beas, Jalandhar City, Pathankot Cantt and Jammu. Under the revised plan, passengers will now benefit from connectivity through Batala and Gurdaspur. Railway officials said that Train No. 26405 will begin its journey from Amritsar on June 16, while Train No. 26406 will commence service from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on June 17. The modern eight-coach Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week and will remain off on Tuesdays. Train Schedule Amritsar to Katra (Train No. 26405): The train will depart from Amritsar at 4:25 pm and arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 10:00 pm. En route, it will stop at Batala, Chhina, Gurdaspur, Pathankot and Jammu Tawi before reaching Katra. Katra to Amritsar (Train No. 26406): On the return journey, the train will leave Katra at 6:40 am and reach Amritsar at 11:40 am. The train will pass through Jammu Tawi, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Chhina and Batala Junction before arriving in Amritsar.
