Venue Changed Hours Before Second Round of Government-CJP Talks in Delhi

The second round of talks between the Central Government and the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) is set to take place in Delhi. However, just before the meeting, the venue was changed at the last moment. The meeting was initially expected to be held at the Constitution Club, but it will now take place at Vitthalbhai Patel House. Earlier, on July 20, representatives of both sides had met at the residence of Union Minister JP Nadda. That meeting, however, ended without any outcome. A day earlier, the government had stated that it had invited CJP for talks on four occasions, but the party did not attend. In response, CJP said it was willing to hold discussions but would not meet at Union Minister JP Nadda's residence, insisting instead on a neutral venue for the dialogue. Amid the ongoing protest by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar, the organization has also made its position clear ahead of the latest round of discussions. CJP founder Abhijit Deepke said that the protest would continue until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns from his post. He further stated that regardless of the level at which the government offers to hold talks, the party's primary demand remains the resignation of the Education Minister. According to him, no settlement will be accepted without fulfilling this demand. He also reiterated that the protesters will not leave Jantar Mantar until their principal demand is met and that the movement will continue until the government acts on their key demands.
