Six Killed in Fatal Bus-Van Collision on Yamuna Expressway

At least six people lost their lives in a tragic road accident early Tuesday morning after a double-decker bus collided with a van on the Yamuna Expressway near milestone 141 in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district. According to Additional Superintendent of Police Ramanand Kushwaha, authorities received information about the incident at around 4:15 AM. Preliminary reports indicate that an Eco van traveling from Delhi to Dholpur was hit from behind by a double-decker bus heading from Noida to Gorakhpur. At the time of the accident, 13 people were travelling in the van. All occupants were immediately rescued and rushed to a nearby hospital. However, six individuals succumbed to their injuries during treatment and were declared dead by doctors. Police officials confirmed that the driver of the van survived the crash, while the remaining injured passengers are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital. Authorities have initiated necessary legal action in the case, and further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
