SGPC action on Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh? Three-member committee constituted, to submit report in 15 days

Amritsar (Punjab) - Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has constituted a three-member committee to investigate the allegations leveled against Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh. A high-level meeting of the Internal Committee of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee was held today at Gurdwara Degsar Sahib Katana (Ludhiana) under the leadership of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, in which the serious allegations leveled against Giani Harpreet Singh, Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, in the complaint filed by Gurpreet Singh, son of Gurdev Singh Sri Muktsar Sahib, were discussed. After the opinion of the members present in the meeting, it was accepted that it is very necessary to investigate the allegations leveled keeping in mind the dignity and honor of the position of Singh Sahib. A sub-committee was formed for the investigation through a resolution passed during the meeting, in which Senior Vice President of the Shiromani Committee S. Raghujit Singh Virk, General Secretary S. Sher Singh Mandwala and Internal Member S. Daljit Singh Bhinder were included. This sub-committee will conduct a complete investigation and submit its report within 15 days. The Internal Committee also decided that the Chief Granthi of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib will perform the services under the jurisdiction of Takht Sahib until a decision is made on the investigation report. During the meeting, Senior Vice President S. Raghujit Singh Virk, Junior Vice President S. Baldev Singh Kalyan, General Secretary S. Sher Singh Mandwala, Internal Committee Member Bibi Harjinder Kaur, S. Surjit Singh Tugalwal, S. Paramjit Singh Khalsa, S. Surjit Singh Garhi, S. Daljit Singh Bhinder, S. Ravinder Singh Khalsa, S. Jaswant Singh Pudain, S. Paramjit Singh Raipur, Secretary S. Pratap Singh, Sukhminder Singh, Personal Secretary S. Shahbaz Singh, Incharge S. Azaddeep Singh etc. were present.
