7-Year-Old Boy Missing in Ludhiana, Family Suspects Abduction

A 7-year-old boy has gone missing under suspicious circumstances from the Janakpuri area of Ludhiana, raising concerns of a possible abduction. The child had reportedly left home to attend tuition classes but did not return. According to the family, the child neither reached the tuition centre nor came back home. After waiting for some time, the family conducted an extensive search in the neighbourhood and among relatives, but no trace of the boy could be found. The child’s father, Saddam Hussain, expressed suspicion that an unidentified person may have abducted his son. He stated that he has three children—two daughters and one son—and the missing boy is the youngest among them. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case at Police Station Division No. 2 under Section 127(6) of the Criminal Procedure Code. Authorities have initiated an investigation and are currently scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas to trace the child. Police officials confirmed that efforts are ongoing to locate the missing boy, and further action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
