Panchkula School Bus Crash: Driver's Quick Thinking Prevents Major Tragedy, Matter Settled Amicably

A new development has emerged in the road accident involving a Chitkara International School bus in Sector 26 of Panchkula. According to the police, the accident occurred when the bus driver attempted to avoid a speeding vehicle, and his quick response helped prevent what could have been a major tragedy. Police officials also confirmed that the matter has now been resolved through a mutual settlement between the parties involved. SHO Rampal of Chandimandir Police Station said the incident took place near a T-point on the road. According to the police, a car suddenly turned towards the T-point without giving any signal. In an effort to avoid a direct collision with the vehicle, the bus driver made a sharp turn. During the maneuver, he lost control of the bus, which resulted in the accident. The bus involved in the incident belonged to Chitkara International School. At the time of the accident, around 20 schoolchildren were on board. Fortunately, all the children escaped without any serious harm, preventing a major loss of life. Immediately after the accident, local residents rushed to the spot and safely evacuated the frightened children from the bus. They also comforted the students until help arrived. Passersby promptly informed the police, following which Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) teams reached the scene and assessed the situation. Police have stated that the case has been resolved with the mutual consent of both parties, bringing the matter to a close.
